Akad Nikah

Location: Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, Bandar Seri Begawan
The solemnization ceremony where the marriage contract is officiated according to Islamic rites. This is the most important part of the wedding.
Majlis Bersanding & Reception

Location: Indera Samudra Grand Hall, The Empire Brunei
The grand wedding reception where the newly-married couple are seated on a dais (pelamin) and celebrated by guests. Includes feasting and well-wishes.
